"Chef justin patterson's yellow, dragon emblazoned southerN gourmasian food truck took mobile dining gourmet when it opened in 2012, proving that food trucks could go beyond the likes of pushcarts peddling hot dogs and pop. with a focus on asian southern fusion dishes- think shrimp and grits spiked with miso and roasted pork sandwiches with sriracha lime butter-- he gained a devout following of hungry patrons.
IN 2015, PATTERSON PUT DOWN ROOTS IN DOWNTOWN LITTLE ROCK, EXPANDING TO A BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION THAT'S ALLOWED HIM TO ADD DINNER AND BRUNCH WHILE STILL FINDING TIME TO CATER EVENTS AROUND TOWN IN THAT TRADEMARK YELLOW TRUCK.
THE EXTRA KITCHEN SPACE IN THE RESTAURANT ALSO MEANS PATTERSON AND HIS CREW ARE FREE TO EXPERIMENT WITH MORE PREPARATION INTENSE DISHES...."

Follow the dragon
After receiving his degree for performance in classical guitar, Justin began working full time in restaurants in Nashville, TN. He then pursued his Culinary Arts degree at The International Culinary Schools at the Art Institute while spending time in the kitchens of The Bound'ry and Tin Angel restaurants. His last stint in a Nashville kitchen was under now James Beard award winning chef Tandy Wilson at City House before moving back to Arkansas and landing back in Little Rock. After two years as a pastry chef/sous chef at Pleasant Valley Country Club Patterson struck out on his own to start The Southern Gourmasian.
CETERA "C.C." KEY
A Little Rock native, and lover of food since childhood, Cetera "C.C." Key has been a part of the local food scene since 2007. C.C. started at The Southern Gourmasian as a food runner upon the restaurant's opening in 2012. She almost instantly rose to the top as she proved not only the most capable Front of House employee but the most versatile employee at SG. C.C. has often said, "If there's a job to be done at SG- I've done it!" In 2016, she was named FOH Manager then shortly after made Managing Partner in June 2017. If you have ever dined at SG, C.C. has either cooked your meal, served your meal or she might have even added your favorite dish to the menu!
